About Us

Ryan and Amy met at Texas A&M University, where they both earned their Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. After graduating in 2009, Ryan and Amy were married and promptly moved to North Texas to begin Ryan’s career in the reining industry. Ryan worked for trainers Patrice St-Onge and Two-Million dollar rider Jordan Larson for a total of five years before starting Ryan Rushing Performance Horses in 2015.

Ryan and Amy relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado in the Fall of 2016 to fulfill their dream of working and living on the front range. In addition to helping Ryan operate RRPH, Amy has developed a successful real estate career at Kittle Real Estate in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Erin Garlock - Assistant Trainer

Erin joined our team in 2018 as an intern and has since worked her way into a full-time assistant trainer position. Originally from California, Erin grew up in the Arabian horse world, gaining horse experience working for an Arabian horse trainer throughout high school. Erin came to Fort Collins to further her education at Colorado State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in Equine Science in May 2020. Erin has experience in Non-Pro coaching, starting 2-year-olds and has become a great asset to our team. We’re lucky to have her and can’t wait to watch her reining career develop!

Natalie came to us as an intern and quickly impressed us with her work ethic and dedication to the horse industry. After taking a keen interest to the nutrition side, we introduced Natalie to our friends at Platinum Performance and the rest is history! Since graduating college, Natalie now serves as an advisor for the brand and is still a close friend.
